I, born in catholic family, and was leading a normal religious life together with all sinful activities of that of youth. I was there in church, serving as alter boy and there in some prayer groups. Even though, I was in such religious activities, my life has no change and I continue to do all sort of sinful activities of youth. When I was studying in plus two, one of my friends invited me to the prayer of ‘Soldiers of Christ’. There I had a different experience. There I found my friends having a spiritual relation with Jesus, Jesus speaking to them in their mind and mingling with them as friend. At this I also got a strong desire to be like this, as to have a friendly relation with Jesus. There in, I got touched with Br. Johnson, who led the prayer group. This was a great turning point in my life. Br. Johnson taught me the importance of ‘sanctity’ in life. He helped me to repent over all my past sins and prepared me for a good confession. In past, I used to attend the ‘Holy Mass’ and yet I didn’t have a right faith in ‘Holy communion’. Here in prayer group, Br. Johnson taught me the importance and power of ‘Holy Communion’, and the presence of Jesus in the ‘Holy Communion’, and how Jesus comes into mind through the ‘Communion’, and speaks to us. “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is will of God-what is good and acceptable and perfect. ”(Rom 12:1-2) This was totally a new experience to me. I whole heartedly repented over my sins, and surrendered myself to my Lord. At this, Jesus took me; He came to me, spoke to me, guided me, showered His Grace on me, and poured His Love on me. This was the great heavenly experiences. The joy and happiness I got from these experiences and from prayers will never ever get from any worldly materials. When I joined college for my degree course, there also Jesus was with me whole time as a good friend, guiding my path all the time. He helped me in my studies and taught me accordingly as what questions might come for exams. Jesus was with me always and I always enjoyed and had a great peace in His presence. Now, I am in Bangalore, doing my Post Graduate. My Jesus only helped me to get admission. And with Grace of my Lord, everything is going smoothly and He is always on my side to help me.
