About Us

By the grace of God, in 1995 a small group of youth gathered to pray together. The Lord loved and blessed the youth. The Grace of the Lord were showered on each one, all were filled with joy of Lord’s holy power. The group strengthened day by day, Lord added many to the group. Now the group not only consist of youth alone, but also small children, family members, aged persons, and our group is known as “Soldiers Of Christ”. The specialty of this group is that each person shall know God spiritually and experience the presence of God and His love, and they will also be filled with God’s Grace. “Holiness” is the main character of this group. Through “holiness” alone, we can have direct contact with God. Therefore, it is given much more importance in the group. The main aim is to bring in “transformation of a person” that is to renew a person from his sinful life to a spiritual life and make him as a temple of God. Miracles and wonders are not given much importance in the group. Still, the miracles and wonders are happening greatly. There are many experiences of spiritual healing and healing of the sick. Intercessional prayers are held and we pray for those who are in need of prayer. Our Parish— The group “Soldiers of Christ” belongs to Pullichira Parish, and our parish church, “Our Lady Of Immaculate Conception Church” is a great Marian pilgrimage center. Our Spiritual father— We the “Soldiers of Christ” have Rev. Fr. Justin Alex as spiritual father who guides our path towards Lord. Fr. Justin Alex is a divine priest who directs a retreat center in the name “Anugraha Bhavan”.

I am a catholic student. I am studying in 10th standard. From my childhood onwards I loved Jesus. But I didn’t know much about Jesus Christ. When my father (Br.Johnson) used to explain about Jesus to those who came to my house, for praying, I used to listen. I was very keen in hearing about Jesus and Mary. My father often scolded me when he observes that I am listening to what he is saying to them. I usually asked many questions regarding this. When I was in 5th standard I was very eager to watch people receiving the Holy Communion, and also I felt very sad, because I was not able to receive Jesus. “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John: 6-35). I began praying to Jesus to make my father bothered about me, receiving Holy Communion. Then my father began to send me for the Holy Communion class. And to my astonishment Jesus heard my prayer and I received the Holy Communion on 18th April 2004, when I was in 7th. For me the most memorable day is the day on which I received Jesus for the first time. As soon as I received Jesus I started shivering. It was a tremendous experience for me. I had a liking in seeing the messages given by Jesus. I prayed to Jesus for showing me his divine messages. “Call to me and I will answer you, I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” (Jer: 33-3). And Jesus heard me and I was able to see messages. And I began to take more and more messages. The most remember able message was that ”while I was praying Jesus came near and asked me what do you want from me and I replied that I need his gifts and he gave me his gifts as the precious jewels.” Not only this, Jesus has given me many other gifts. I have seen Holy Spirit also. “Repent, and the baptized every one of you in the name Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.” Acts: 2-38) He helps me in my studies. I love my God very much and I like to follow his path.

How to Pray Rosary

The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose of all devotions and it is therefore the most important one. The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation. With the Rosary in fact we meditate the mysteries of joy, of sorrow and the glory of Jesus and Mary. It's a simple prayer, humble so much like Mary. It's a prayer we can all say together with Her, the Mother of God. With the Hail Mary we invite Her to pray for us. Our Lady always grants our request. She joins Her prayer to ours. Therefore it becomes ever more useful, because what Mary asks She always receives, Jesus can never say no to whatever His Mother asks for. In every apparition, the heavenly Mother has invited us to say the Rosary as a powerful weapon against evil, to bring us to true peace. With your prayer made together with Your heavenly Mother, you can obtain the great gift of bringing about a change of hearts and conversion. Each day, through prayer you can drive away from yourselves and from your homeland many dangers and many evils.
It can seem a repetitive prayer but instead it is like two sweethearts who many times say one another the words:"Iloveyou"... The Holy Father John Paul II with the Apostolic Letter ROSARIUM VIRGINIS MARIAE of 10/16/2002 has added 5 new mysteries of the Rosary: The Mysteries of the Light.

How to Pray the Rosary

1. While holding the crucifix, make the Sign of the Cross and then recite the Apostle's Creed. 2. Recite the Our Father on the first large (or single) bead. 3. On each of the three small beads, recite a Hail Mary for an increase of faith, hope and charity. 4. Recite the Glory Be to the Father after the third Hail Mary. 5. Recall the first Rosary Mystery and then recite the Our Father on the next large bead. 6. On each of the adjacent ten small beads (also referred to as a decade) recite a Hail Mary while reflecting on the first mystery. 7. After the tenth Hail Mary, recite a Glory Be to the Father and the Fatima Prayer. 8. Each succeeding decade is prayed in a similar manner by recalling the appropriate mystery, reciting an Our Father, ten Hail Marys, the Glory Be to the Father, Fatima Prayer (optional) while reflecting on the mystery. 9. When the fifth mystery is completed, the Rosary is customarily concluded with a Hail, Holy Queen, and then the closing prayer(s). 10. For the intentions of the Holy Father, one may recite at the end of the Rosary one "Our Father", one "Hail Mary", and one "Glory Be".

1st - The Annunciation of the Angel to Mary
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said: "Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women". And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.And the angel said unto her:" Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest"... And Mary said:" Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word". And the angel departed from her. (Luk 1,26-38) Oh Mary with Your "yes" You have opened heaven's ways, You have achieved the will of the Father. You will be blessed for ever: Your intercession is heard in Heaven, because You have accepted God's plan. Let us pray that we can say "yes" to the Father in every instance He ask it of us. 2nd - The visitation of Mary to Saint Elizabeth
Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda. And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost and she spake out with a loud voice, and said: "Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb". ... And Mary said: "My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name"...(Luk 1,39-49) Mary goes to visit Elisabeth: She carries God to Her cousin, for the love of Her brothers and neighbours. 3rd - The nativity of Jesus in Bethlehem
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them: "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger". (Luk 2,6-12) Infant Jesus in the manger. Mary, Joseph and the shepherds adore Him. Let us also adore Christ, the Son of God, in the silence of our soul and from the depth of our heart. 4th - The presentation of Jesus to the Temple
And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. ...When the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said: "Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation... A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel." And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother: "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."(Luk 2,22-35) We need to pay attention to the voice of God, to discern His call and accept the mission He gave us. After the Simeon prophecy, Mary takes into Her Heart the wound of sorrow, but in the silence She accepts the will of Her Father. Our Father 10 Hail Marys Glory Be My Jesus

5th - The finding of Jesus in the Temple
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him: "Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing". And he said unto them: "How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. (Luk 2,41-51) Let us think of how many times we have been far from Jesus; from that Jesus, who with so much love has died for us. I am a catholic student. I am in 8th. From my childhood days I loved Jesus and I liked to hear the stories of Jesus. I came to know Jesus very deeply, when I was in 5th. I used to listen to Br.Johnson, when he used to preach about Jesus during prayer time. I had many things which worried me a lot. I shared all these things with Br.Johnson and I was free. “For by grace you have been through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of god” (Eph: 2/8) After that I began to think about receiving Jesus. “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke: 22/19-20). I went for the Holy Communion class and sisters prepared me well for receiving Holy Communion. And thereafter I received Jesus on September 29th 2005. I had got many other good experiences by knowing god. I was suffering from severe stomach pain. After coming to this prayer group my stomach pain was cured. For that I thank my lord very much. I, born in catholic family, lead a religious life till 10th standard. I used to attend the mass and serve as alter boy. But after my 10th, I became a totally spoiled child. I totally forgot about the God and was given to all sort of sinful activities. As I was leading such a sinful life, I fell into a deep trouble and a situation arises that I have to keep away from my house. At that time my friend said about the Divine retreat Centre, and I went there. I realized the sound of ‘Living God’ and this brought up a change in me. And when I returned back I got in touch with a group of youth that was formed to worship the Lord. From there, I got in touch with Br. Johnson; this was a turning point in my life. Br. Johnson taught me the importance of ‘Holiness’ in life and made me to repent on my past sinful activities. This made a radical change in my life, and I started going to church since after a long time. And Lord taught me many things in my life. But still Holy Communion was not so important to my life. Then an incident occurred in my life that made me aware Holy Communion, is the most powerful and essence of all God’s love that has been given to us….. One day, all of a sudden, I fell like a sick person, and my body became so weak that I was not able to get up from my bed. I was having severe body pain as like that my bones were broken, and I started crying to Lord. The next day happened to be Sunday; I cried to the Lord that I cannot go for mass on that day. On Sunday morning my inner conscious inspired me to go to church. I walked to the church with my struggling body. My body was so weak that I walked like a drunkard person. During the mass, whole time I was sitting on the floor and could not fully concentrate on the mass. At the time of distribution of ‘Holy Communion’ my mind took my body near to the priest and I received the ‘Holy Communion’. Suddenly, at the moment of receiving the Holy Communion all my sickness, my body pain, weakness, everything vanished in an astonishing manner and I came back to my seat with a strong body without any problem of sickness. I knelt down and prayed for a long time. Through this incident, Lord had taught me the importance and power of ‘Holy Communion’. And after this, I approach ‘Holy Communion’ with respect and affectionate mind. And ‘Holy Communion’ became the basic in my religious life. Eventually, I started growing in the Lord and my Jesus blessed me with lot of His Graces and showered His Love on me. I got in personal relation with Jesus and He spoked to me and mingled with me as a friend. This astonished me and made me to surrender my everything to my Lord. I was eager to hear my Jesus’ voice for 24 hours in a day. For that I surrendered more and more to him. As I surrendered he took me and guided me along every path which I lead. I will narrate a small incident to say how Jesus guided me in the day to day life. Once I happened to travel to Ooty for some personal reasons. I was going for first time. Early morning I reached there at bus stand, and it been totally anew place to me, I didn’t know what to do, as I didn’t knew the language also. I felt like going for toilet. The toilet available in the bus stand was not opened. I asked help to Jesus as I didn’t know what to do. Then He replied to me to get up and walk and then turn left and right and guided me to the toilet which was out of bus stand. This rembered me Bible verse “And when you turn to the right or to the left , your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying , “This is the way; walk in it”.( Isa : 30-21 ). This is a small incident; likewise, my Lord intervened and guided me in my day to day life in many ways. I was deeply depressed because I was not getting the love of Jesus from the Holy Eucharist, so I finally came across the church, I spend my time over there praying. At that moment I felt a new love of Jesus when I was praying. I felt a something like drops falling on my head then it started spreading. It was really a new experience my heart was filled with love and repentance. The lord explained to me later about this moment. Jesus was cleaning me with his precious blood and made me a new person. After that Jesus drawed me nearer to his presence and reveled his love more and more. Jesus answered her, “if you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, “Give me a drink, ‘you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.’) John: chapter 4, verse 10. At this moment I was deliberately poor. Under the control of all the evil things which the teenagers face in the youth stage, I really forgot my family problems and my duties towards them. i.e., I completely forgot my sisters who were to be married and my house was like a stable, but when Jesus love came into me I was reminded about the duties towards my family, but I did not complaint anything to Jesus about my worries nor I prayed. I was ready to surrender my life to him who has life and was ready to accept the life which he gives me. Jesus began to love me more and more. {Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.) 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 6. God led me to the path of praying, he led me to the poverty which I have not experienced. I wondered whether it was a test. When a particular period approached God entered into my worldly pleasures, the house which was ruined, the money to be accumulated for the marriage of my sisters by selling the house surprised my neighbours, and God began to make arrangements in my life. The invisible hand of God granted me a job where I could do my duty as well as be present in the prayer group. I was able to build a new house, get my sisters married in a good position. This was all very fast above all God delivered his spiritual gifts upon my family I would like to say that not giving much relevance to the above said things the most important experience is that the Holy Eucharist is the Supernatural light of power, so surrender your life with love and strength at this altar of light. How broken hearted you may be he will satisfy yourself. He will control the steps of your life. All this I am sharing on the basis of my own life’s experience. AMEN.

1st - The Baptism of Jesus

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. (Mt 3,13-17) The Baptism in the Jordan is first of all a mystery of light. Here, as Christ descends into the waters, the innocent one who became "sin" for our sake (cf. 2Cor 5:21), the heavens open wide and the voice of the Father declares him the beloved Son (cf. Mt 3:17 and parallels), while the Spirit descends on him to invest him with the mission which he is to carry out. Our Father 10 Hail Marys Glory Be My Jesus

2nd - The wedding of Cana

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
"Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."
His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. (Jn 2,1-12) Another mystery of light is the first of the signs, given at Cana (cf. Jn 2:1- 12), when Christ changes water into wine and opens the hearts of the disciples to faith, thanks to the intervention of Mary, the first among believers. 3rd - The proclamation of the Kingdom of God

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" (Mk 1,15) The preaching by which Jesus proclaims the coming of the Kingdom of God, calls to conversion (cf. Mk 1:15) and forgives the sins of all who draw near to him in humble trust (cf. Mk 2:3-13; Lk 7:47- 48): the inauguration of that ministry of mercy which he continues to exercise until the end of the world, particularly through the Sacrament of Reconciliation which he has entrusted to his Church (cf. 4th - The Transfiguration

About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, "Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." (He did not know what he was saying.)
While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him." When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves, and told no one at that time what they had seen.(Luk 9,28-35) The mystery of light par excellence is the Transfiguration, traditionally believed to have taken place on Mount Tabor. The glory of the Godhead shines forth from the face of Christ as the Father commands the astonished Apostles to "listen to him" (cf. Lk 9:35 and parallels) and to prepare to experience with him the agony of the Passion, so as to come with him to the joy of the Resurrection and a life transfigured by the Holy Spirit. 5th - The institution of the Eucharist

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body."
Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it.
"This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them. "I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God." (Mk 14,22-25) A final mystery of light is the institution of the Eucharist, in which Christ offers his body and blood as food under the signs of bread and wine, and testifies "to the end" his love for humanity (Jn 13:1), for whose salvation he will offer himself in sacrifice. 1st - The Resurrection of Jesus Christ
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. And the angel answered and said unto the women: "Fear not ye! For I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here. For he is risen, as he said". (Mat 28,1-6) The risen Jesus has proved that man, together with Him, can have power over sin and therefore death. Jesus, help raise us, deliver us from sin, from evil, give us Your light, give us Your joy. Rekindle inside us the love, the faith, the hopefulness, and the gift of prayer. 2nd - The Ascension of Jesus to Heaven

3rd - The Descent of the Holy Ghost
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 5th - The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth There appeared a great sign in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. (Rev 12,1) Let us trust in Mary, Let us call to Her, let us love Her, let us confide in Her, because She gives Her all to us. We have a Mother in Heaven who is also a Queen; thus we need to turn to Her with full faith and hopefulness. If we ask for something while praying the Holy Rosary, it will be granted to us. Ask Her for the gift of prayer, a prayer of the heart, said only for love, a love for Her and Jesus. Let us also ask for a consistency of prayer, to always be joined to Her Heart, and therefore to the Heart of Jesus.

1st - The Agony of Jesus in the garden
Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them: "My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me". And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying: "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt". (Mat 26,36-39). And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (Luk 22,44) In the forsaking prayer to the Father, Jesus found strength, trust, and an angel was sent to comfort Him. So Jesus will be our comforting angel. It's as He said to us: " Why do you worry in your difficulties? Be strong in me; look to your God in your most troubled hour, and you will be triumphant." 2nd -The scourging of Jesus at the pillar
When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor. And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying: "Art thou the King of the Jews?" And Jesus said unto him: "Thou sayest". And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him:" Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?" And he answered him to never a word Pilate saith unto them: "What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?" They all say unto him: "Let him be crucified!" And the governor said:" Why, what evil hath he done?" But they cried out the more, saying: "Let him be crucified!" (Mat 27). And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. (Mar 15,15) ss How many pains, how many torments, and how many wounds on the body of Jesus? How much blood falls to the ground, while His tormenters laugh, insult him, and gather their strength to hit the innocent body of Jesus again? Let us ask to accept every insult for the love of our Lord, and also a true regret for our sins.

3rd - The Crowning with Thorns
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying:" Hail, King of the Jews!" And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. (Mat 27,27-31) Think of the indignity, outrage, pain, and humiliation that Jesus suffered. They striped Him of every dignity, He was treated as the guilt of our worst sins. He seems to say to us: " Why do you despair when you suffer? Is that the way you love me? Meditate about my passions and find in them great riches." Let us ask the gift of patience to accept all humiliations, thinking of how Jesus suffered for us.

4th - The Carrying of the Cross
And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. But Jesus turning unto them said: "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck". ... And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.. (Luk 23,26-32) Even if He had suffered just for you, Jesus would have accepted such pains, great is His love for you. Along the road to Calvary Jesus sees Mary, His Mother. Can we imagine the moment when Their eyes met? Oh how Her Heart must have ached. Let us pray to Mary for the grace to always accept our cross, so that Her and Jesus may bear it.

5th - The crucifixion and death of Jesus
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he said unto his mother:" Woman, behold thy son!" Then said he to the disciple: "Behold thy mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. ( John19,25-27) Jesus wishes to see us close to His Mother; He wishes that, like children, we keep our hand in the hand of Mary. That is what He wants. He asks us to look to the heavenly Mother, that is depend on Her. He asks that we accept Our Lady as our true Mother, who will ignite in us a fervent love of Her Son. Mary, we trust in You, take us and put us in the refuge of Your Immaculate Heart, heal with Your humility our pride, that so often takes us far from God.

I am a catholic child. When I was small I don’t know anying about Jesus.Later I begin to know about Jesus. My father taught me how to take messages. I did as my father asked me to do. Then I was able to see Jesus Christ. From that day onwards I started a close relation with Jesus. I began seeing his beautiful and pleasant messages. After one-year I forgot my Jesus. Then I do not have peace of mind. So I was not able to study anything. Then I pray to Jesus, Jesus came into my heart. That night I see a dream about me. The dream I see was ‘I am standing in darkness’. I pray to Jesus in that darkness and Jesus remove darkness from me. Next day I thank Jesus. It is really very enthusiastic to be in the presence of Jesus.

Praise the Lord Coming to the prayer group and praying gods grace was showered in my family and my house. My daughter who was suffering from breathing problem and stomachache was not able to go to school regularly but the lord healed my daughter from all these problems. My husband who was not at all interested in the sacraments and prayer was encouraged by the lord to come and prayer in this prayer group and made a good confession. I could experience the presence of Jesus. I believed that any problems or difficulties arise in my life it will not take place with out Jesus knowing I could repent over my sins. The doctor had recommended me to change my valve of the heart but I believed that I will be healed in this prayer group. When I visited the hospital again (chitra) the doctor found that there was no need of operation or change in the valve When I was in the examination hall for supervision I was very upset and disappointed and as I began to pray the rosary I was taken to sleep I heard a thundering sound calling my name, when I heard the sound I felt happiness in my mind. After this incident when I prayed my rosary I was able to meditate all the mysteries and felt a new experience. The problem which I had to face in my house and family was all sold and now I am experiencing peace.

I was brought up in a Christian family. I got all the opportunities to know about Jesus from my family. I came to know Jesus only after coming to this prayer group and experienced his love. At the beginning I didn’t get any experience from this group it was like an ordinary prayer group. But this attitude changed completely after sharing. This is the most important part of the prayer group which is not seen in other ordinary prayer group. By sharing I was able to identify my various problems and when I shared it with Br.Johnson I was getting relief from all these things. I had a new experience a coolness was felt and I began to shiver, peace and love of Jesus took me to a new experience and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I was able to recollect the sins which I had forgotten and I was able to repent over my sins and made a good confession. After sharing was able to love and feel the presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Not only when I began to love Jesus I could experience the peace which I have not experienced before. Jesus blessed me and healed me from my sickness. Jesus began to help me in my studies when I began to surrender the studies to Jesus I could learn better, he gave me opportunity to further study. Now I am a house wife. Jesus gave me a loving and caring husband. Not only that he granted me a son. I thank Jesus abunduntedly for everything he has given.

I born in a christian family was devotional and used to go for daily mass, sunday mass and even receive the holy communion. I thoughtthat i knew every thing about Jesus and i was perfect in every thing.The time passed on and I got married . My financial situation Was better .We had a readymade garment shop which was going on well I was very happy and was very proud of myself , then we thought of starting a second shop so that also was Fulfilled. So every thing going on smoothly I became very proud and felt I was the luckiest Person. After a period of two or three years every thing collapsed one by one. In order to stand in this Field we had to take loan from the bank, and from others. So automatically we were falling in debt. Hence I was deeply depressed and my pride ended. I prayed to my lord and as a result I got a chance to go to the Divine Retreat Centre. I stayed there for five days and attended the entire programme i.e., the mass, the gospel preached by the priests and also the counseling. One day while I was hearing the class I could hear some people making loud noise when I turned towards that site I was really very much astonished to see a lame Woman walking without her clutches. That woman’s room was just adjacent to my corridor had seen her walk with the clutches or with somebody have helped. This was the turning point of my life. At that moment I cried out from my heart and was aware that Jesus is still living and I am only a person made of mud. From that day onwards I gave myself to Jesus to Mould me in his hands. I started praying the Rosary, then Jesus choused my husband to be a preacher and we had The opportunity to start a prayer group in our house. With the help of this prayer group I came to know more about Jesus love and how to stay in holiness. I repented on my sins and was a free person. Then i was affected with a skin disease after going through various treatment there was no sign of relief. I had to undergo severe pain through this I under-stood that Jesus loved me more and more and he was really molding me. I was in bed as i could not walk or do any work. Then my husband told me to take a quotation from the Bible" Arise and thresh, O daughter Zion, for I will make your horn iron and your hoofs bronze" (Mc 4-13) These words really touched me and I got up from the bed and started to walk slowly to the drawing room where the statue of the sacred Heart was kept when I looked at it a Current passed through my body and I felt that I was recovered. Then Jesus began to speak to me in my mind and even sometimes I could hear him speaking in my ears. I used to pray to our mother she would help me in the kitchen to make curry and so on, she use to teach me how to make new things. Jesus also granted me one more gift i.e., sharing others pain and sorrow. Incase a person Comes with a head-ache that head-ache passes to me and i suffer it in the name of Jesus and that person is free. I have placed all my things, even my children in the hands of the lord, so he looks after them and all the needs of my family. Jesus loves me more and more so he moulds me each and every day. So the lord blessed our family and showered his blessings and our dealing with the bank has been settled. So we must always keep praying, surrender ourselfs to God, live in holiness.

I am a catholic child. I was bought up in a catholic family. When I was so small I doesn’t know how to pray .This was the condition till 3rd standard .When I become in 4th and 5th standard my father [Br.Johnson] would tell something about Jesus in the prayer. I usually listen it. Then I came to know more about Jesus. Then I remembered that Jesus had taught his disciples a prayer. I began to pray to pray it. This is how I learn to pray. After all these I noticed that my sister always taking messages. But I didn’t know how to take messages. I thought that there were some rules for taking messages. So I thought I could not take any messages and I didn’t try for it. One day my father taught me to take messages. The first message which I have seen was that Jesus was sitting down in a rock with his lambs. Then I began taking messages. I thought that I’ll get messages everyday without praying. Then I became lazy in praying. Then my father came to notice this and he scolded me. Then I prayed and to my astonishment I saw that Jesus was very far from me. Then prayed to Jesus and he came near to me and I made a close relation with Jesus. But I had a worry, which was about my holy communion. . “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke: 22/19-20). I went for the Holy Communion class with my sister, but I was not able to receive the Holy Communion. My sister’s Holy Communion was over. Then I asked to my sister what I should do to receive Jesus. She replied to me that you should pray to Jesus when the priest raises the Eucharist. I used to do like that I was able to receive Jesus on December 26th 2006.While receiving Jesus I got an experience and I still have not loosened it.

I born as a catholic, but my life was like that of gentiles. I never had a connection with the church or any type of religious activities. I was totally immersed in drinking and all sorts of immoral activities and was a great nuisance to the society as well as my family. By the result of all such sinful activities, I had fallen sick. My health condition became worse day by day and a stage occurred, I could no longer do any job. So, I went to prayer in one prayer group. But in this prayer group there were only prayers, and I didn’t know about Jesus, and I continue to do my activities like before and there was no improvement in my health condition. Then I heard about a prayer group in Pullichira by the name ‘Soldiers of Christ’. I decided to go to this prayer group and that was the turning point in my life. There, Br. Johnson, who was the leader of the group, preached me about the Lord’s love and His grace. He told me about the sin and the sinful life I was leading and taught me the importance of sanctity in the life. His preaching made me repent over my sins and I confessed after a period of long years. I became entirely a new person, gave away all my sinful activities, began to go to church, and started receiving Holy Communion and gradually my habits improved. Eventually, all my sickness was healed and my health condition improved greatly and I could do my job without any difficulty. Besides the Healing, I received Lord’s grace and my Lord blessed and showered His love on me and poured on me the Heavenly happiness which I will never get from earthly material. I surrendered everything to Lord, and now I am His humble servant. Now I am married God gave me a loving and caring wife.

I was born and brought up in a catholic family. When I entered my youth, my ways turned against God’s commandments and I became addict to all the evil things like smoking and drinking and so on. When I was a child I would go for Sunday mass but gradually in the youth stage I started avoiding to go for Sunday mass, then automatically it stopped completely. I always criticized the priests, nuns and the authorities of the church, without reading the Bible I tried to change the minds of the people asking trapping questions. In my thoughts God was a person who gives us want we want and not more than that. Then I started my family life and entered into a business, with this my evil practices also increased. Then I started a new shop, with this, my friends and evil practices increased countlessly. My inner conscious made me feel to stop smoking as I was a chain smoker, but I couldn’t stop it. I came to know with my own effort I cannot do this, so I planned to go for a retreat in Divine Retreat Centre for one week. There I witnessed the miracles and preaching and tried my level best to prove it to be cheating, but I had to bow my head because of a small child who was deaf and dumb by birth. By God’s grace a miracle occurred, the boy began to speak and hear. When the preaching of the gospel was going on at the same time miracles and healings took place. (Indeed, the word of God is living and active sharper than any two-edged sword , piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.)Heb:4:12. During these days , Holy Mass and Adoration was taking place, many people were healed and miracles took place at this moment. While the Adoration was going I had a doubt in mind that the Holy Communion is just a bread made from wheat, how can we feel Jesus presence. But this doubt was cleared within seconds when a man entered to share his experience with tears in his eyes. He said that as he was taking part in the adoration and concentrating on the Eucharist he could see the face of Jesus clearly instead of the Eucharist kept there. He rubbed his eyes with great effort thinking it would be his imagination but he could see Jesus very clearly at that moment he could not control his tears and started to cry aloud. From that day onwards I believed that Jesus is present in the Holy Eucharist. This was the turning point of my life, where I came to believe that “God is still living”. Therefore I took a decision, from that day onwards I will follow the ways of “Living God” and my transformation took place. When the true light of God came into me, I was able to repent deeply with tears over my sins which I had committed, and was able to pray, as well as go for daily mass and through receiving Holy Communion I was able to feel the presence and love of Jesus. To know more about Jesus I started reading the Holy Bible and few Bible verses touched me…For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.( jer 29:11) “Strive first for the kingdom of god and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Mt 6:33). “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me; yet not my will but yours be done.” (Lk 22:42) “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” (Lk 1:38) And hence I completely offered myself to God and started praying. One day, as I was praying, I saw a vision, a lighted candle and seven rooms, I passed the seven rooms one by one, when I reached the seventh room and opened the door, I saw a blue sky which gave me enthusiasm, peace and happiness in my soul, which I was not able to understand. Many obstacles and temptations came into my life; Jesus held my hands and led me to the right path. One night while I was praying, I had a heavenly experience, a blue flame of light covered me, at that moment I was filled with enthusiasm, peace and enlighten in my soul. To be in the presence of God it was really very joyful and no other worldly things would substitute this experience, so I prayed to God to always keep me in this experience and take me away to His presence. So I came to know that if we have to live we have to strive for this kingdom of God. “Very truly, I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set the seal.”(john6:26-27) Then I started to share my experiences which I had received with others and started to pray. “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words." (Dan 10:12) Then this individual prayer led to group prayer of three to four youths. When we started to pray the lord really interfered, and miracles took place, The Lord taught me different things like the holiness, how to link with the Lord, as the Father and the Son unites we must also be united. “The Glory that you have given me I have given them, so that may be one, as we are one. I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”. (John 17:22-23) The number of youths increased in this group as per the ‘good news’ their lives were transformed they were filled with the Holy Spirit they received the gifts of the lord and they repented deeply on their sins and they turned to new persons. The last days it will be, God declares that I will pour out my sprit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Even upon my slaves, both men and women, in those days I will pour out my sprit, and they shall prophesy. (Act 2: 17-18) When the youth came into this group and prayed their family members automatically came to pray. “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Act 16-31). The lord showered his gifts and miracles like the healing of the sick, casting the evil spirit and by this the lord’s importance was shown. Like wise the lord appointed me a sinner and a weak person for the expansion of the kingdom of God. While the prayer group was in progress the lord gave me a thorn in my life, my business collapsed, financial problems worsened day by day, but the lord held my hands and managed everything accordingly. The lord blessed me and granted me four lovely and charming children two girls and two boys who are studying. The lord is guiding me each and every moment of my life but he has not taken away that thorn from me.

I born as a catholic but my life was not at all a religious one. I was a fully drunkard person and my nature was that, I doesn’t care for anyone or doesn’t mind any one. Likewise, while I was leading such a sinful life, my Lord touched me and I left my drinking habit. Then I got a job in Muscat and was leading a small religious life there. Then I got married. Immediately after my marriage, I lost my job and I came back to my native place. Then I suffered a lot, I tried many time to get the job but all my effort was in vain. Years passed like this. Even after two years of marriage, we were not blessed with a child. We visited a hospital and they said a treatments is required. Then we went to a retreat centre in the name of Anugraha Bhavan. There, Fr. Justin Alex, who is the director of Anugraha Bhavan Prayed for us. Through his prayers, we were blessed with a child. During the period of wife’s bed rest I got in touch with Br. Johnson. I shared all my problems with Br. Johnson and when I said that I am not getting any reply from the Lord. Br. Johnson invited me to his prayer group. And I accepted the invitation .This was totally new experience to me. In the prayer group Br. Johnson & Br Leonard taught me many things such as sanctity Lords grace etc. He helped me to repent over my sins and transformed my life. I was the person who doesn’t mind or care anyone, and I used to say whatever comes to my mind at the face of other person without minding them. One day the Lord spoke to me today what ever thing or person you come across say, in your mind “God Bless you” and thus my lord changed me from this nature. But I say to you that listen, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. (Luk 6:27-28) My Lord blessed me and gave me his grace through this prayer group .I heard Lord’s voice. Once after the prayer, I saw a bright light through vision. I said this to Brother, he told me to pray for the reply from the Lord. I prayed for the reply, suddenly I heard a voice which said “I AM WHO I AM”. When I heard this I shivered like anything and tears started to flow from my eyes. Like this, Lord gave me many heavenly experiences through the prayer. And after few months, my Lord blessed me and I got a job in Dubai again. Now I am in Dubai doing my job and also serving the lord. By the grace of lord, I am blessed with one more child and now leading peaceful life in Dubai. PRAISE THE LORD

Beyond impoverishment it was opprolorium that made to shed tears off me. My father’s abnormal acts in public due to insanity offered my family a great woe. This made my childhood a lacrymated one. I was the youngest one in the family, with two elder sisters.
My aunt Mrs.Margret introduced me into prayer group-Soldiers of Christ, while I was in high school. The group was led by Br.Johnson. I started going there often. At first it was a lurking place for me from my cluttering family, but gradually it becomes an obligation for me to attend the prayer. But due to many reasons I had to eschew from the group for about three year. That was a testing period for us as we suffered a lot because of our father’s low acts in the house and in thepublic.
After about three years I was reunited with the prayer group again. The larking place became an asylum for me. The group was full of enthusiastic young men. We danced out of heavenly peace and praised our sins. I heard the voice of Jesus when I went deep into my mind. He started to speak to me in loneliness: but after sometimes I was able to hear him even when I was in groups, while talking lord with our full strength. Holy spirit showered his gifts on us. He prepared us to repent of to my friends. He started teaching me the heavenly truths. I became aware of the importance of holy mass. Jesus was with me during my exams (curricular). He helped a lot there I secured a first class in the degree exams.
Very soon my mother and my sisters were attracted by Jesus; and they also started coming for the prayer. Likewise all families of our team were united. At that time we started a prayer meeting in the houses of the team members. Our family got ready for our turn. It was all the plan of the lord; that he astonished me when the prayer was held in my house. My elder sister and myself viewed a same vision; that the heaven coming down and touching our home.
After when I got my Jesus by my side, I was never worried about the poverty and miseries of my family. I was never concerned about the opprobrium’s. But Jesus was…………… He was concerned of his son….. He was concerned of his son’s nubile sister. Without even a word of request from me, he started to carve, my family. Without having single paise in hand, my sister’s marriage was arranged. Jesus encorporated everything for the marriage.
“Strive first for the kingdom of god and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Mt 6:33).
Mother Mary was always by my side. She helped me to pass the Postgraduate exams. She wants me to be a good teacher as her son was. So I joined for the B.Ed course. To the end of my life I like to be in the hands of Mary, the Adytum where the Holy trinity is united.
